The Health & Safety Code of California Controls Drug Crimes
Drug crimes are usually charged under the Health & Safety Code 11350 and are prosecuted that way. Prosecutions range from misdemeanor to felony, but the more severe the drug and drug crime, the more likely you are to be punished as a felony.
